The drive belt between the electric motor and the internal drive shaft has snapped (belt is labelled QUALCAST PART NO T 47168 NOT FOR SPARES 6 127DS) on my Qualcast Classic 30 Electric Cylinder mower.

Can anyone tell me:-

a) the replacment part number for the drive belt?

b) how to change the belt. It looks like the drive shaft needs to be disconnected to fit the belt over the drive wheel....is this right???

To change the drive belt from the electric motor to the drive gear, remove the top cover by unscrewing the two retaining screws. undo and remove the screw holding the retaining bracket to the motor assembly. Undo and remove the three screws holding the motor bearing in place, remove the bearing assembly. Undo and remove the two screws and washers holding the motor assembly to the mower. Fit the new belt around the motor and drive gears noting the correct direction of travel of the belt (printed on the new belt). Reassemble in the reverse of this procedure.
