Can anyone point me to the valve which I open to replenish the closed circuit please? I'm assuming this boiler needs recharging from time to time?
Failing that, anyone know where I can get a user manual?

There was indeed a valve as you described, it was hidden below some shelving. Nicely refilled now. Cheers! :)

Follow the cold water inlet pipe at the bottom of the boiler towards the front of the boiler. about two inches (5cm) from the front and about 6" (15cm) from the right hand side you will see a brass fitting with a flat screwdriver slot, gently open this and watch the guage (keep your screwdriver in the slot so that you can turn it off, otherwise you might fill too far and open the safety valve)
