how to repair Kenmore series 80 gas dryer model # 76822690?

my dryer is not heating up blows cool air only, replaced the ignitor still not working. model #76822690 kenmore series 80 gas dryer

Basement flooded now Kenmore series 80 gas dryer will not start...hear a clicking sound only. Water got up about 8 inches on dryer...... Any ideas??

I had the same issue. Mine turned out to be the Thermal Fuse.
This is about 1.5 inches long, 1/4" wide and and is located on the exhaust housing about 6-10 inches from the floor. The Sears part number is 3392519 and it costs 13 bucks plus tax. They still have these available. I am going there on Saturday.

You can test this easily by disconnecting the fuse and shorting the 2 wires together. After turning on the dryer after 10-15 secs the heat should turn on. The fuse is a safety device so that if your thermostat breaks, your dryer won't catch on fire.
