My Beko WMA610 stopped mid cycle?

The machine got to the spin cycle and stopped. The start/pause display light was flashing but when pressed the machine did not start up again. I have emptied the filter at the bottom front of the machine and tried again but nothing has happened.
Any suggestions before I invest in a new one.
Thanks

Thank you for your response. I have done that and all looks ok. After resetting I put it on a wash cycle again but the drum didn't move and now it is flashing at me! Does this mean the motor might have given up?

take the filter out again and shine a torch in to the filter housing.check the drain pump impellor at the back rotates freely.press and hold the start button in for 5 sec and let the machine go through its reset program.once reset retry
