how to remove overtight / broken pre-heaters ?

Hi, I have a renault kangoo 1.9 diesel, two of the pre-heaters are not working properly, one has broken and the top half just revolves but will not screw out,the other has been screwed in too far and seized. due to the cold spell starting is now a problem!. would be glad of any info. cheers mike.Mike

no easy way to do this but if access is ok you may have to drill out broken/seized plugs and have a tap and die set handy to clean up threads in head but be very careful when doing this, one slip and the head may have to come off for repair
