How can I stop timer flashing? CANNON 10575G / Chichester double oven-lidde?

I cannot stop the timer from flashing and therefore have no use of the bottom oven. The problem started after I switched power back on after returning from holiday. Can anyone help? Its is a CANNON 10575G / Chichester double oven-lidded.

You have to set the time ! before the oven will work.
press the first 2 buttons on the left, hold them down...while doing this press the button on the far right to set the clock....and voila !!!!

I've just had a similar problem with my Leisure Profile Plus...the electronic timer thingie mysteriously changed to and stuck itself on Auto (I've never cooked on Auto) and none of the little buttons would work, so although the rest of the cooker will work...the oven won't. I think my cooker is too old to get a replacement electronic timer, so that coupled with the fact that they also don't make cookers now with the same width, my problem was looking seriously expensive to resolve in that not only would I need a new cooker but I might have to possibly change the kitchen to fit around it!

However...I discovered the little buttons on the timer come out completely. So I used a cocktail stick to poke about inside the holes where the buttons go till the Auto mode light disappeared and the cooker went back to manual. And my oven works again as before. So fingers crossed.

So a cocktail stick has saved me having to spend a load of money. Give it a try.
