Hoe Do I Change Motor, Dyson DC07?

Got a poorly Dyson DC07 Animal. Been doing loads of DIY, too much dust, basically kept turning off due to over heating but also motor started to sound real rough. I've pulled apart and cleaned most everything, put back together and looks like new. Switched it on and the motor gave a gargle and cut out. After a rest, when fired up, it did the same. This sounds like the motor hasn't burnt out yet, but is it a blockage/bearings in the motor or just a failing motor.
How do i remove the motor? Is it straight forward or a bit tricky. I'll pull it apart without help but the right way is the easy way, cheers. Simon
