can i replce my exhaust with a race pipe?

My exhaust recently packed in (peugeot speedfight 100cc) and I was looking on the net for another one to replace it (as its cheaper than letting a shop get you one) anyways I've been seeing all these funky race pipes about so I was wondering can i replace it with one of these (obviously a suitable one for my model) or do i need both?

you can buy your own one and put it on but be aware that most of them will need lighter variator rollers to go with it and also some need to have the carb up jetted to run wih it,the thing is the expansion chamber type exhausts are alot free'er flowing and the back pressure made by them isnt enough to get the engine running right so thats why you need to increase the revs by fitting light weight rollers that make the revs higher and therefore raise the back pressure in the exhaust.
