Renault scenic 1.9DCI Won't start?

Our car was fine before the snow, but now won't start, I thought at first it was the battery so have used jump leads which did give the car power to lights, wipers and so on, but when I press the start button I get a warning saying steering lock is on, so I turn the wheel and try again and it now says steering lock Is off, but still will not start, it also now says parking break fault but I can apply and take it off, we also noticed o ce that the warning message "injection fault" but I took no notice of that cos I've had that before when battery is dead, I changed the battery recently, so can't understand why the car will not start, it's as if the start button hasn't got enough to turn starter motor? Anyone got any ideas.

Not quite the same fault although my radio stopped working then when I returned to car in the morning the battery was dead.

I believe that some scenic radios pull too much power ( a known fault ) eventually flattening battery and the other known fault I believe which could help you guys is a crankshaft sensor.

Going to check my radio now!

Hi I also have a 1.9 DCI Scenic on a 55 plate. My car has been displaying check injection and clear particle filter from time to time over the last month. Just been out to start it tonight and it is doing the same as yours, attempts to crank engine over then stops and displays Injection Fault?? Wondered if you had discovered anymore??
Cheers Paul
