dont now if it my immobilliser?

my car just wont turn over all light come on and then goes off as normal but thats all that happens, the key doesnt even click

You don't mention what vehicle you have, but could be a weak main/fob battery or faulty fob. fob-failing to send signal to the ignition to release the immobiliser. A neighbour had the same problem with his VW
