I can't open the boot on my astra press the cental locking but it is solid can't open it

remove rear panel gromit.Insert wide flat blade screwdriver into apeture turn anti clockwise and boot will open manually.next unplug multiplug that goes to the hatch mechanism.check for live feed when remotely pressing lock/unlock buttons.you will find its a faulty solenoid on the hatch mechanism if you are getting lives.

you will probably find that your window wash is not working as well and think it is just frozen but if i was you check the 10 amp fuse which supplys these 2 items in main fuse box by the battery in engine compartment??
