I have a 125cc Mojito Custom (Aprillia). Every now and then it doesn't start. The ignition lights comes on, and horn works loudly, but nothing happens. No turn over, just nothing at all. When it is working, it fires into life with no problem at all.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

I would say one of a few things
1. dodgy electric starter.
2. dodgy switch on brake
3. check selonoid and battery

Thanks bb, no clicking, and the lights are all working - when it works it's all OK, but when it plays up, apart form the ignition lights there's no life or noises at all -dead.

Is there a clicking noise when it fails to start? I would say either your battery is starting to fail or you have a starter selonoid problem. These are often near the battery and stick and makes the electric start sometimes work sometimes just clicks with nothing. Very easy to replace.
I would also suggest checking your switch in your handle bars when you pull brake in. Make sure your brake light comes.
