This is common and has burnt a few cars out
You need to change the over heated wires and eyelet connectors as they cause a heating effect on the fuse box etc.cut the over heated wire back to a good bit and use an in line butt connector to extend the old wire and fit a new ring eyelet to connect it to the fuse using the 10mm nut.if its the wire from the alternator that is getting hot totally replace it.you will need to replace the fuse box again if its burnt/melted
