how to fix fiat punto 56 reg heating fan?

Hi I have a fiat grande punto 56 reg. The heating is working but the blower is not blowing hot or cold air. How do i check/repair this. Tried to get to fan but couldnt work out how to, through back of glove box?
Unable to drive car as it is freezing on inside!!
