there was a hair clip in the pump and the water would not pump out .I have cleaned the pump started it back up and it stop with the water still in it. IT just makes a noise. do you think the pump as gone if so which one would i need to get up and running again. thank you.

Make & model of machine would be a big help. If when it gets to the drain part of the cycle you can hear a humming noise then the pump is still blocked with something. If no noise at all then pump may have failed but you really need to test it before going off and buying a new one which may not fix the problem.
