Does anybody know where I can purchase a reasonably priced dipstick method oil extracter for standard road vehicle (electric or pump manual). The marine shops tend to be a big expensive for such a simple item. The sump nut is damaged (and now permanently sealed and no longer leaks oil), therefore I wish to take the easy route now to avoid any future sump leaks and extract via dipstick instead.

Jeez, guys; I don't know.
If you advance the oil-change interval by a bit, you avoid the
chance of an engine failure. Those marine engines are 'way down in there' & those pumps do the job.
I change my car oil by driving up onto ramps & the angle of
the sump dictates at least a quarter-pint of dirty oil
stays in the engine. It can't all flow out.

If $$ 's a problem, buy a rabbit pump and hand crank it out.
It comes w. a thin, thin tube which will get down into the sump

I agree with the last post. Part of the readson for changing the oil is to get rid of small particles which accumulate in the sump. If you don't get the sump plug fixed (properly) you are storing up problems (like a blown engine) for the future.

I have seen these methods but it can`t be doing a good job because alot of the old oil and metal particals will be left in pan
causing more problems ........
