Peugeot 206 Anti Pollution Fault after flat battery ?

I had a flat battery and had to get a jump start from roadside assistance. He told me I needed a new battery and also noticed it went in to the mode above and use some device to fix. I now have a new battery and starts fine. But it still shows light and Anti Pollution Fault comes up. It runs fine but am worried about the light or it shutting down when I'm on the road. Anyone know of a cost effective way of getting rid?

i have had same problem i spoke to a time served mechanic who gave me th info i needed free? there may be water in the tank the liquid in the radiator may be old empty flush tank same with radiator clean plugs clean leads clean the car (THE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICS) and hey presto it worked over six months i have not seen the ANTI POLLUTION FAULT. give it a go £50 pound sorted it. dont let the fuel tank run empty as you will get a build up of condensation a higher octane fuel seems to help i still put in the supermarket cheap stuff it works. this appears to be a problem on most pugs

If it has only occurred since the starting problem it will probably clear if you take it for a decent run at full operating temperature to burn off any unburnt fuel deposits.

If that doesn't clear it then you'll need further investigation.

no quick fix, can be any number of faults. car will have to be put on computor at garage. common faults are air flow meter, egr valve and o2 sencor.
