Since the start of this cold snap my wifes intermittant wipers have ceased to work, together with the windscreen washers, even though there is water in the washer bottle. There is no noise of the water pump working.
Any suggestions as to the reasons and possible repairs would be appreciated.

If the wipers have been switched on with the wipers frozen to the screen, or under inches of snow then a fuse or relay may have blown.

Similarly if the washer has been operated when the reservoir bottle contents have frozen solid.

You'd be unlucky if the motors had burnt out before blowing the fuses.
