There are some very good manuals out there, these days.
Might I recommend "Clothes Dryer Repair - Cheap & Easy"
by Doug Emley, who's written the best appliance manuals I've
seen . www.appliancerepair.net.
The manual will set'cha back about $20, & you can get a good price on the set of five, covering all appliances - written in 'english' by a repair pro.

Sears' manuals aren't bad, but Emley's are much better.
