what is it called?

I have a 1990 2.5 ltr Talbot Express Diesel engine in a Highwayman camper van, I am leaking water and have traced it to a cracked dome shaped water vessel just above the fuel pump and just below the water expansion tank, 1 pipe from the expansion tank goes into it and two pipes come out of it (Heater system i suspect) can anyone tell me what to ask for to replace this dome shaped thing. Local motor shops haven't a clue.
Thanks

i cannot give you a name for this device but i suspect it is viewing chamber for checking visually for air locks or preventing air locks to connecting parts. namely heater or cooling devices. if main expansion tank has seperate pipe to engine(thermostatt)and this vessel is unconnected to engine then try caravan centres (heating)rather than garages as it is a appliance adapter not a vehicle part.
