how do you replace a fan switch in a 1994 ford escort 2 door hatchback 1.9 liter? fan will not come on when engine is hot.

Need to check for voltage @ cooling fan when its suppose to be on ......if voltage is there you have a bad fan .....it is pooably a bad fan relay or sending unit ........
