I have had my iron for 2 years and now the red light flashes on the base unit but it doesn't produce steam or get hot enough. I haven't replaced the calc filter but the calf filter light hasn't come on to suggest it needs changing.

Any ideas if changing the calc filter will fix the poblem

Havn't got an answer but my morphy richards generated jet steam(pink one) has packed up it gets hot but dosn't produce steam, so annoying as mine packed up just after the garantee run out. Im trying to find some where that fixes them.
