vauxhall astra 1.6 active .a sohc engine need to remove fuel pump relay, in order to depressurise fuel to get new fuel filter on

I have never heard of this but you can just bleed fuel filter after you loosen connectors and when bled replace fuel filyter
Relay shouldn`t be energized with key in the off position
