why does my scooter not move after i have stoped i can rev it but it doesnot go anywear feels like it is dragging

maybe the variator is jammed and its stuck in the high gear state of gearing with the variator pushed up.i would suggest taking the transmission cover off and taking the variator off and looking at the rollers and seeing if they are moving as they should.
