My Dyson How can I remove the hose on the Dyson D4?

Can any one please help, how can I remove the hose from my Vavum Cleaner it is a Dyson Dc04 Absulute ,it is the hose the attatches from the wand to the machine ,the end that attatched to the wand is broken whilst the rest of the hose is perfect.I have made a temporary repair with some tape but obviously I would prefer to repair it permently, Thank you

At the bottom, just above the u-bend you will see a round button. This button is part of the hose and you need to push it in (quite firmly) then the cable tie socket will come out. If the hose remains in, it is simply stuck and all that is required is a sharp tug.
