Hi Alice,
You can use any 24 st. punchcard template.
For Fair Isle just punch out the background - the white squares on the template.
For Tuck stitch and Slip stitch patterns punch out the card as the template - punch out the black squares.
For lace patterns punch out all the stitches you want to knit and leave the ones to transfer unpunched.
Start the design at the bottom of the card as shown on the template and draw a line across the card between the 7th and 8th rows. When you feed the card into the card reader this is the start line - you line it up with the edge of the card slot and it reads the first line of punched holes.
