GHD's Broken?

I have had my ghd 15 months and paid £115 for them i do not expect them to not work after this short time, the light continues to flicker and makes a noise whilst in use like a crackle, also the bleeping sound of the on/off switch. I understand this is a common fault surley this is a manufacturing problem,if this is the case they should be replaced for free!!!

I had a similar problem just after mine had run out of guarantee. I got in touch with Ghd to ask them if they would consider a sympathetic warranty claim but got absolutely no where which annoyed me as they were dear to buy. I then made the mistake of buying some cheap straighteners - they were rubbish. I was that disappointed with them in the end I sent my broken pair of ghds to a firm i found on the internet called FixMyGhd's.com I got them back within 3 days good as new. I have kept the rubish pair in case the ghd's go faulty again but 12 months later they are still working fine.
