vectra,heater blowing cold temp gauge on max took cap of waterbottle ice in bottle kept engine running then boiling water blew out ,could you advise what to do next,had full service 2 months ago done 1000miles since

warm the whole engine bay up above freezing with a fan heater for several hours.drain water and put ANTIFREEZE in quickly before you Knacker the engine totally assuming you haven't damaged it already!
