The motor is working but my wipers must've been frozen to the window. How do I repair them?

either linkage has come adrift or the nuts holding arms to spindles are loose,if so- switch motor on and then switch off and when motor stops switch ignition off.motor should now be in parked position and if you set wipers in parked position you can tighten nuts [they will have a plastic cover over them] wont be fuse if motor running!
