Fault code F26 showing, the outlet pipe was frozen and unblocked it but now the boiler will not relight. It sounds like it's trying.......any ideas? Minus 10 tonight lol. Someone on here mentioned something about the "trap" underneath may be blocked - can anyone shed any light?

if you take outer cover of you will see small metal strip with two star head screws holding it at front of chamber (unscrew and take metal strip of) look inside with tourch,at back and you will c were white hose comes up into it.you will c if it is blocked, if it is put a metal coat hanger up white hose to unblock and clean out trap. white hose will come apart underneath boiler.if boiler still does not work and f26 keeps coming up u will need to reprogramme brain and get a service

sorry4got to tell u when u remove outer cover u will see metal silver chamber at front small metal strip with 2 star screws in it, unscrew and remove look in chamber with torch , poke from underneath through white hose (u will need to take it apart) use a wire coat hanger to push up. you will see if back of trap is blocked if not i think you will need to get brain recoded
