The temperature settings on my oven have rubbed off the fascia panel so I can't tell what temperature I have set ! Can someone please post a photograph of the panel with the settings still intact ?

On my Stoves oven the temperature control degrees Centigrade match the rotation in angular degrees.

The knob rotates anticlockwise and the first marking is 100 deg C at just past 90 deg rotation - 180 deg heat is exactly half way round - 280 deg (the maximum) is just past three-quarters rotation.

Yours may be different - or perhaps the same.
