banging front end noise over bumps ford mondeo?

over big bumps and small bumps and speed humps there is a banging noise from the front end.

Mondeos mate could be a number of things i fail mondeos,escorts kas u name it on mots all day long. Poor suspension but relativly cheap to repair.Most mondeos have had a private hire lamp on them at some point.most likely anti-roll bar drop links,if not d mounting bushes,springs are common and so are wishbones,lucky to get a year out of them,keeps me in work though lol,Check your rear doors.If they swing loosley defo been a private hire.

Sounds to me like the lower suspension arm. You could have this looked at or even do it yourself. Its a Y shaped part (wishbone), look at the joints and brushes for wear and cracks. Known to go on all ford models in particular MK2. Cheap enough to replace

could be a broken spring on the suspension. I've had the same problem. took me ages to suus because the break was right at the top of the wheel well hidden by the shock absorber.
