ford transit 2002 rwd mwb overheating problem?

Hello can anyone help me?i have a 2002 ford transit 2.4 rwd ,ive been having problems with it overheating its ok around town but the minute i hit a big hill or a motoway the tempture gage goes stright to red it also blows cold air form the heater so i took the van to fords for a diagnostic and they told me it was the the oil cooler and the head gasket has fine so i fitted one but it still over heats???what else would make it overheat HELP PLEASE chrisbaynton AT hotmail.co.uk

wouldn`t have thought oil cooler would be your problem,has it had plenty of a/freeze in the system lately and hasn`t frozen?had one of these a few weeks ago where the system had frozen and sheared the water pump impeller straight off,also the thermostat was stuck shut so would maybe have a look at these first
