suzuki SJ50 scooter has no idle?

Hi, my scooter began to rev higher and higher by its self, so i turned it off and restarted. However it did the same again. I switched off and left it for a day and now it wont start. Any ideas

to be honest a bike that revs by itself then cuts out is usually running out of petrol !are you sure its got plenty of juice in it?they run weak as the fuel runs out and the revs go up then it dies :D

I would suggest your carb floats are sticking. You need to take your carb out and give it a good clean to start with and go from there.
