Can anyone tell me why my car alarm keeps sounding even though my car is not locked? I have tried various suggestions that have been posted and it is still going off

had a couple of vauxhall vans with same problem,replaced the actual alarm under n/s front mud shield,when you shook them they were full of water but no idea how water came to be inside them,replaced and no problems since,dont know if this will be the same on a Zafira,worth a look good luck
