Since new this Executive had this problem, now, this 03 registered model has a very annoying problem that is not intermitted. I can sometimes stop the dipped beam (green) dashboard light from flashing by pulling the end of the light stalk outwards, by about 1mm, from the steering column.
Question - can the "switching block remote control" {part 6242C6} be removed and then replaced without needing a main dealer computer connection? If I can do this I can try to dissasemble and repair.

If its got esp then no as the steering wheel angle sensor has to be calibrated after removing and replacing the switch unit
