blower problem rover 45?

my blower was coming on intermittently and now does not come on at all can anyone help

Hi,
remove glove box only two hex. screws (small size socket set useful) There is a plug going vertically into a small plastic compartment remove plug and two selftappers. Examine resistors inside (probably burnt out) A replace ment resistor kit is available on E bay. I must admit though that quite a large soldering iron was needed to remove old bits and fit new resistors. Some young apprentice or college student might help you here.
Other possibility is that the motor is defective easy to change but they are asking about £35 for second hand ones. Motor/fan removed by just three selftappers underneath resistor unit.
