Anyone know where I can get replacement Scantronic 9800 control panel?

My control panel digits are really hard to push now after 16 years. Banham have told me that I need to replace the whole system as they no longer make the panel and there are no replacements. This is likely to be in >£1k!

I think this is the one that really started my demise from here.

I assumed it's an 'on contract' alarm that's why I suggested what I did, even so, what's wrong with what I've suggested it's an easy solution without expense, even postage.

or if you want,i will send you a keypad for your system, its not new,but its in full working order, its from the 9800+ range but will work fine with the 9800,you just pay the postage, and its yours,

or buy the 9651 scantronic control panel ,and replace the 7 amp battery while your at it

Whoops, forgot to say, don't use any of your old digits, but you guessed that didn't you?

£1k to replace a 9800, that is a London big company r** off price.

eBay, you might find a replacement keypad there if you really get stuck.

But - why not change your 16yr old code?

USER CODE CHANGE
Enter Code
Press Prog key ( 4 )
Display will ask for Old Code ( oc )
Enter Old Code
Display will ask for New Code ( nc )
Enter New Code
Press Clear to Register & return to Day

Does this solve your immediate problem?

If your existing code does not work, why not put in a new one?

Note: If you are adding a 2nd, 3rd or 4th code for the first time, enter AAAA for second code, BBBB for third code, CCCC for the fourth code and OMIT OMIT OMIT OMIT for the Duress code when asked for the old code (oc).

This is the only time that these keys are used as an access code. When and existing code is to be changed, the user must enter the old four-digit code.

Any of this help? Let me know, good luck
