sharp xe-a301 no button will work?

when last used the till just stopped working . till is still lit up but no buttons will register when pushed . can anybody help in resolving this problem as no error code appears also

Turn the key to REG mode. Press clear (CL). Type some numbers on the numeric pad. can you see the numbers on the display. If not, it probably has a faulty keyboard. Otherwise, make sure you have logged on to the machine.
