Handle broke, laundry trapped inside Indesit W103?

Flatmate broke handle on Indesit W103 washing machine. It snapped off and our laundry is trapped inside. How do we open the door to get the washing out?

assuming the programme has finished
power off, drag machine out, remove the lid, now reach down with a small flat bladed screwdriver into the rear of the door inter lock and press the metal catch sideways while gently pulling on the door
