the door to the hood which opens out manually appears to be shorting out the electrics within, so the lights and fan fail to operate, I have changed the bulbs and the plug fuse to no avail, it appears to be the action of the door opening which triggers the problem?

there is a micro switch that is probably full of grease needs cleaning or changing
