Leisure Rangemaster WL55 ignition has stopped sparking?

The battery powered spark ignition on our 10-year-old Leisure Rangemaster WL55 gas cooker has stopped working. I've tried changing the battery but this doesn't help. I assume the problem is either in the push button that makes the spark start working or in the spark generator.
Can anyone help with information on how to get access to these components? Are they easy to replace for the non-professional?

Sure you've sorted it by now! Underneath the front panel middle left, follow the wire, just had the same issue myself only took me a year to pull my finger out and look for it! Single AA battery

I found spares available by searching on google 'rangemaster leisure 55'.

can you help me by telling me where the battery is located as our WL55 has the same problem (pushing igniter button fails to click nor spark). Can't work out how to access the battery or where it is!
