hi-i have vaux astra 07 estate-boot wouldnt open-was checking fuses,removed central locking fuse by mistake (was fine and put back) changed the boot fuse which had blown and boot opened-however now the central locking wont work! any ideas? just tried putting key in igntn turning to position two and pressing lock/unlock nothing happened .....any ideas?

that is quite a common method to clear this sort of fault.

just like your pc or tv/recorder...any problem just switched it off for 10 minutes

just to let you know i sorted it-disconnected battery for 5 mins-then central locking started working! not bad for lady with no car knowledge! :)
