i need to fix my mercedes sprinter:)?

I have a Mercedes sprinter 311 cdi sitting on a y reg, a couple of days ago i put some fuel in out of a spare jerry can and i think theres some dirt in the injectors. i have been told i need to reboot the ecu any idea's on how to do it with out the computer?

hi i had the same problem i changed the fuel filter and put 25 liter of desil in the tank that was it
