Honda NSR125 JC20 1993 Won't Start?

Bike will only start when bumped (push start). It's got a spark, looked weak to me so I changed the plug. No change. Next I changed the ignition coil, no change. Swapped the CDI unit with a spare, no change. Took the carb apart to check float needle, looks OK. Anybody got any ideas?

sorry to say but i have seen a few like this and even owned one like it too, look on the good side though you know what it is now ,the primary ignition coils always give trouble on them they do give a weak spark like you say and only if the engines revs are fast enough.just find a good second hand one or buy a new set of primary coils for it and i bet its ok.p.s the primary coils are inside the left hand engine cover.

either the battery is not 100% which is likely, if it won't turn the engine over fast enough it won't fire. also if the bike's been sat for a while, the fuel may be degrading, so try draining the tank and carb and adding new petrol. good luck.
