I have switched off power and switched back on and my Veritas R8 alarm will?

I have a Veritas R8 and have turned off the power I have now turned the power back on and the alarm keeps going off will not allow me to reset using my code or factory code

i would not boast about having that panel!!!!
the battery will be shot,replace it.
