clutch on honda dylan not workiing ?

HELP!!!!! I put a new belt on the and now the belt won't grip ? someone said it might be the clutch needs replacing, if so can anyone shed some light on how to replace it i would be really grapeful.

thanks mate i have looked at the lenght of the belt but if anything it was to small (but i still got it on ) i got the belt from tibbetts in tolworth which is a honda dealer. as for the gearbox at the rear of the engine could you give me any idea to were it is and how to change it.

mmmm well either the end of the variator isnt tight or the belt is the wrong length i would say there is also a small gearbox at the very rear of the engine and there are 3 gears in the if they strip it wouldnt drive but it would make a horrible grinding noise,and a slipping belt squeals like a piggy
