How do you replace the front emblem on a 2001 Passat 4 Motion?

The Volkswagen emblem on the front grill is damaged. How do I remove the old damaged emblem and install the new emblem?

some of them have pins on badge that fits in holes some are held on with double sided tape if later then peel old tape off and stick new 1 on
