600 bandit total loss of electrics?

lost all the electrics riding home. i mean all the lights and the engine cut out, now there is nothing on the ignition like if the battry and alternator both died at the same time. just wondering if any one had some experience of this and what the cause was?

follow the red live wire from the battery and it will go to a electrical box called a starter solenoid there will be a plastic bit on it with two clips either side on the top pf it pull the off by pressing the clips ion and pulling it up and underneath it you will see a 30amp green fuse have a look at it and see if its blown if it is replace it if its not then charge the battery and see how it is it may need a new battery if all that doesnt work i would say either the igntion switch wires have come apart at the connector or the igntion switch is faulty.

Hi, main fuse blown, isolated battery, wiring fault.
