My AEG Electrolux T37400 vented dryer does not work?

The dryer works, but stops spinning after a few minutes (different length times), although all the lights stay on as when it was working. If I bang the machine, it starts working again.

Had an engineer round, who diagnosed that a relay on the PCB is sticking, and that is why banging the machine makes it work again.

But the cost of a new PCB is almost as much as a new tumble dryer.
Can I fix the existing PCB ?

Exactly the same problem here...Did you fix this problem? If so how? :)

the answer is yes you could repair the old pcb but you will need a soldering iron and will need to find a new relay the same as the one on the pcb.The components on the pcb would have to be sourced and replaced.if you are lucky by resoldering the pcb can make them work as they can get bad solder joints
